Delete your account and data

Karmanya · account deletion request

Most people don't need this page. If you still have the app installed, deletion is one tap inside it and takes effect immediately — no request, no waiting.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Karmanya.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete my account and cloud data.
  4. Confirm.

This removes, immediately and permanently: every habit and logged day stored in your cloud account, and the account record itself. The habits on your phone are deliberately kept — deleting your account stops syncing, it does not wipe the device you are holding. If you also want the local copy gone, uninstall the app.

If you no longer have the app

Email support@karmanya.app from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Karmanya account". Sending from the signed-in address is how we verify the request is yours; if you cannot, tell us and we will find another way to confirm it.

We will confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days, in practice within a few days.

What gets deleted

  • Deleted: all habits, logged days, values and notes held in your cloud account.
  • Deleted: the account record itself, including the email address associated with it.
  • Not deleted: data on your own device, which only you control.
  • Not affected: your Google account. Karmanya only ever used it to identify you.

Anything retained?

Aggregate, non-identifying counters (how many habits were created across all users, for example) and crash reports that contain no habit content are not tied to your identity and are not recoverable back to you, so they are not removed by a deletion request. Nothing retained can identify you or reconstruct what you tracked.

Take your data with you first

Deletion cannot be undone. If you might want your history later, export it before you delete: Settings → Data → Export gives you a JSON file that Karmanya can restore, or a CSV for a spreadsheet.
